It's Mother's Day, I planned to buy a wheelchair for my mom because she wasn't very mobile due to chronicle legs' pains. She had refused to sit in a wheelchair and her reaction was the same this time when I told her my plan. She doesn't need it at home but she hadn't gone out since falling down to the ground outside Ranch 99 Chinese Supermarket a month ago. Though that didn't hurt her much, she was scared of falling down again, so decided not to go anywhere.
We won't take a big vacation during the summer but I do plan to drive my family around Washington State and nearby Oregon, Idaho every other weekends. I have aimed at several places to visit: Ocean Shores; Walla Walla Vineyards; San Juan Islands; Leavenworth, Great Wolf Lodge, where we will stay overnights. In addition, we will go to several national parks close to home to picnic either on a Saturday or Sunday. I would like my Mom to enjoy it. Without a wheelchair, I don't think she is able to move around with us. I may buy one at Walmart I checked out on its website but won't tell my Mom until we drive to a place where she may realize that she must use it.
I also have a plan to go to Ashland to watch a Shakespeare play, which I have thought about for more than 10 years but never made the trip though passing by the town numerous times. I may do it this summer with my son if he is interested. Hopefully, my van will work well.
Lying on the sofa, I watched 2nd half of Tottenham taking Southampton. It's a match for its symbolic runner-up position at BPL but Tottenham players were not able to win. They actually lost the match at the end.
In the following match, Manchester City wasn't able to win the match either, which might disqualify them for UEFA Championship League in next season if Manchester United would win the next two matches.
I had a choice to go to work out either before lunch or in between the two televised matches on MLS Soccer Sunday. Hesitating for several minutes, I decided to go to Lynnwood High School across the street to practice if there weren't matches being played there. Fortunately, no one was in the field. I hadn't practiced for two months, so had to have the blood on my foot circulated for several minutes. I made several Free Kicks by right and left foot, then dashed to chase the ball kicked far away by myself.
After 20 minutes, two guys came to the other field to play. I kept rotating my practices through Penalty Kicks, Volleys, Free Kicks, Rushing Shots, 180 degree Shots, etc. After an hour, I was almost out of breathe but felt so entertained. I could play soccer five hours in an afternoon when I was a teen and youth without fatigue.
Coming back home, I looked into the mirror and found myself so spiritual. Playing soccer made me go back to 30 years ago.
My Mom tried to fry the chickens on the cooking range but wasn't able to have them well done. After biting the blood, I had to put them onto the grill for 10 more minutes. She might want to prove that she could do the same as I had done on Barbeque grill but fires on the range were not powerful enough. However, it's Mother's day, so I didn't elaborate. Actually, my parents and I would eat every piece of chickens and fishes at the end of the day. They were tasty.
Watching the first televised MLS match between LA Galaxy and New England Revolution, I was amazed by several goals. Galaxy led the match by 3 goals but eventually lost focus. Revolution caught two goals up within several minutes after their key player was subbed. Gerrard scored the last goal for Galaxy, which was too easy for him. Defense at MLS was still weak or defenders might lose the focus too.
Taking a shower in between, I kept watching the second televised match DC United hosting New York City. NYC played a pretty fluid match, especially in 2nd half. However, I did see former Sounder, Neagle, was in the field. It also triggered me to check where Eddie Johnson was but just learned he had retired. David Villa sounded a successful former superstar at MLS, who had scored 20+ goals after joining NYC. He scored the first goal in this match.
Checking my credit card transactions online, I was curious why the monthly charge for May from Kylin TV disappeared. I found that charge being pending last week and knew it was the legitimate charge for 2.0 program my parents really enjoy watching after several turbulent weeks. Even this is in my favor, I still would like them to clarify: If they waived it for May due to the troubles I experienced, I appreciate; If this was another system error, I would like them to fix it; If my integrity is being tested, I acknowledge I noticed it but won't proactively resolve it. Meanwhile, I will closely watch if I will be billed on 5/14 and 5/23 again for terminated 1.0 program. With all these being side, their attitudes are really great.
It's 12:44 AM on Monday morning now, I actually found the song on Youtube I listened on Thursday night on my way home from gym. I had listened a dozen times of several different versions that night, and want to share it here. The name is Hosanna and it's very inspirational no matter if listening to it from religious perspective or not. Hopefully, this will bring you a peaceful night while falling into sleep.
