Patrick's Diary - 5/19/2016

The first night in this week I couldn't go to the gym because falling into deeply sleep after dinner until half an hour past midnight. I actually had fully slept for an hour before the dinner, which I even didn't hear my Dad shouting to me from downstairs, eventually he had to come up to my bedroom to wake me up. I must be very tired through the day.

I stayed in bed to hesitate if getting up or continuing sleeping for several hours. In my mind, I did lay out a full plan for Friday: Go to the gym to make up the loss last night at 5:00 AM; Make a fast trade to make 50 to 200 bucks from 6:30 to 7:00 AM; Taking shower and eating a sweet bread from 7:00 to 7:30 AM; Drop homeowner due of my rental townhouse that is actually due today at 7:45 AM; On road to the office through I-5 and arrive at the parking lot at 9:00 AM.

Glancing at CNBC and Bloomberg TV for 15 minutes, I decided to sleep again. As a result, I didn't go to the gym but took the shower and ate the sweet bread. Now, I am catching up my diary for yesterday while watching CNBC through the application of Thinkorswim.

Because of the price drops of Expedia, Alaska and Paccar, my SeaPower Index dropped by 2.4% against the base. Since Walmart performed very well, I guess Costco's earnings may be fine as well. I am seeing its price to go back up 150 level next week.
Yesterday, when I mentioned the stocks helping my IRA account balance bumping up 40 times since 1998, I forgot to refer to Akamai's name. I remember I bought Redhat first and it brought me unrealized gain 3000 bucks but I didn't take. I sold it at loss and bought Akamai at 1.50 or so, then it brought me more than 10 times profits.

Clinton blamed Trump's recent comments actually helping terrorists and she was vague on if Sanders may become her running mate.
