Going to Virginia Mason Lynnwood Clinic at 8:00 AM, I had my eye exam done by Doctor Richter. I was happy that my visions on both eyes kept 20/20. Actually, Doctor Richter's assistant Janet had checked the visions for me before the formal exam was performed. I even could see the letters designated for 20/15. It's always pleasant to talk to both of them whom I had known for years.
Before I walked out, they asked me if I had brought sunglasses with me. I thought I did, so didn't take the temporary one from them. After getting into my van, I just realized I only had the one which had to be attached to the frame of a pair of glasses. It's difficult for me to drive 30 miles to work with dilated eyes, so I decided to go to Safeway to have my medications refilled first.
On my way to Safeway, I had to be very cautious because my visions were very blurry. Waiting for the refill, I bought the grande latte at Starbucks inside Safeway and grabbed a turkey & ham sandwich for my lunch. Coming back to my car, I still didn't feel ready to drive on road, so decided to take a rest in the car while eating the sandwich as brunch. Lying on the driver's seat for a while, I figured the dilation almost completed, then decided to drive out of the parking lot to get onto the freeway. The golden rays broke through the light blue sky. It's such a wonderful late morning.
You can imagine that I came back very late to wrap up the dinner quickly. Watching Lemon's night show, I could sense the media seriously being worried about the possible Trump's Presidency. A Seattleite finally was invited to the Presidential Campaign shows on CNN. He seemed a journalist working for a NY Newspaper, I can't remember if it is NY Times or not. However, he resides in Seattle and is my son's much more senior alumnus.
Sanders has caused a lot of disruptions for Clinton's campaign. Many Democratic members were urging him to stop his efforts. It sounded to me that Clinton didn't have any plan to pick Sanders to be her running mate. Reading through several websites, I could tell Elizabeth Warren might be on the pipeline. However, you never know what the combination eventually may be. I don't want to influence the process, so won't make any comment on this.
I should pick some Swedish songs to listen this week for a reason everyone knows but I don't want to elaborate. For this Thursday night, I would like to share Sergels Torg again. Yes, I do miss the days and nights I spent there back in 90s, which significantly transformed my life. The key reason is that a beauty at my age tried to help me reside there without any demand and expectation because she could feel my passion of this paradise. This song may not interpret what I miss appropriately and I had never listened to this song and learned the singer until last year but I do love it.
I don't need to elaborate either, many acquaintances might already tell that I changed a lot after coming back from the big journey in last July. It might be another transformation again after 20 years.
