I had woken up since 2:30am but just got up on this Thursday early morning. Season has changed and I had started wearing long sleeve shirt since Tuesday. I pulled sweatshirts out of and put all short sleeve shorts as well as most of T-shirts back to baggage.
On Wednesday morning, before leaving for work, I ate two pieces of bread and a marinated egg while watching CNBC briefly. It looked like Apple's price dropping pretty significantly during this downturn. As far as I observed, the markets became stabilized. I bought some GPRO shares two days ago. It dropped another 10% today. However, I am going to keep it at least for a year. It will become another value stock with low P/E but growing one at high rate.
On my way home, I followed a car with California license plate, which followed a big truck itself on I-405 for quite a long period. I tried to posit myself very relaxed on driver's seat by leaning to the side window, which might cause the driver's concern in that car if I was clear-headed. I might look like in dream. She probably tried to signal me to be awaken by driving her car swinging in front of me. The whole purpose I followed her car was to be relaxed because she kept hers at a very low speed behind such a big truck. I had to find a chance to surpass her car then switched back in front of that big truck because her way of driving had made me stare at her car nervously. Or, she might suspect I was stalking her? Whatever.
As I shared that Charlotte at Hertz Sweden sent me the receipt for rental charge, which was pretty reasonable: 900 bucks for 20 days. I had seen that charge on my credit card statement in early August, so didn't have any question on it. I even didn't need the receipt. Seeing that additional charge pending to my card yesterday, I started wanting to review the receipt to check out. It's why I asked her to send it to me. The additional charge was for the ticket someone put on my windshield when I left to check in at the hotel for just 5 minutes in Malmo while my son was sitting in the car. It was 800 Swedish Krona and Hertz added 240 administration fee. When I dropped off the car at return station, a girl told me to pay it at any Forex window at Arlanda Airport, otherwise Hertz would process the tickets late with hefty administration fees. I should have done it in that afternoon when all Forex windows were still open. Our flight the next day was at 6:30am, so I never had a chance to do it because Forex store at the airport hadn't opened yet then. Anyway, overall expenses related to the rental car for this trip are still pretty reasonable.
Before falling into sleep, I watched Mariners' game for several innings and caught that they struck a two runs home run again.
It's 5:00 am on Thursday now, I changed my plan not to go to gym but will head to work early. I will come back early to stop by Safeway to have my mom's medication refilled.
