Patrick's Diary - 9/8/2015

First of all, Charlotte at Hertz Sweden replied to my e-mail today after we chatted on the phone at midnight Seattle time. She figured out the charges currently pending to my credit card. Just like I had assumed, it is for parking ticket. I will share the detail when I wrap up my diary for today after coming back from gym at midnight. However, I don't need to call her to follow up, at least, it is not fraud. By the way, she seemed very detail oriented.

Yesterday was a long day, oh, mentally because of the long weekend. Arriving at home, I was surprised that I was still able to catch the 2nd half of international friendly USA taking Brazil. Brazil played very professionally, scored 3 more goals, which seemed having USA losing grace at home but USMNT actually needed to treasure this type of opportunities when facing superpowers in soccer world. In the last dozen seconds, US player made a bullet shot to avoid goalless at the end. That was the most  wonderful shot in this match including all the other 4 goals Brazilians made.
The following match being held in Arlington was Mexico fighting Argentina. I really wanted to watch Messi. I watched him play twice in person at the stadium, one was at Quest Field when Barcelona visited Seattle probably in 2010, another was at Commerzbank Arena in 2012 when Argentina played Germany in Frankfurt. Mexico had actually played much better and scored twice until Aguero and Lavezzi were subbed in. Aguero scored the first one and Messi eventually tied the match. He seemed very happy.
After the soccer matches, I happened to catch the moment one Mariner striking a two runs home run. Though they lost the game, it was still a very inspirational flashing point last night.
As I had shared in the diary I wrote in this early morning, I spent sometime at midnight to call Hertz Sweden to connect with Charlotte for the pending charge to my credit card.

I still don't know if Sweden hosting Austria in EuroCup 16 Qualifiers was ever televised or not. It's a shock to me to learn that they lost 1-4. However, they showed respects to all Austrians for what they have been doing at home recently.
Ok, I will go to gym to work out then come back to finish the diary for today.
