Not going to gym this morning, I headed out at almost 6:30 am. The traffic from Route 527 to 522 was congested as usual but became pretty smooth after that section. I got out of I-405 within 45 minutes and stopped by Burger King to have my breakfast after taking the first exit on Route 167.
As I said, the only Ikea store in Seattle area is located here as well. Telling you the truth, I had never paid much attention to Ikea when I was in Sweden in 90s because I never needed to buy furniture during those short periods of stay. I actually started noticing and shopping at Ikea after moving to States 18 years ago. For example, almost all pieces of furniture in my reading room were purchased at this particular Ikea in Renton 5 years ago.
I had planned to stop by Safeway to refill my mom's medication but decided to get out of Exit 26 to go home instead. We will have barbecue on Saturday, it's better to buy the patties and salmon and then store them in the refrigerator over one night. So, I will go to Safeway tomorrow after coming back from work. Generally, I buy bulk of meat at Costco but we may not have much chance left to make barbecue in this season.
Arriving at home, I noticed the roof was cleaned perfectly. Our neighbor Joanne texted me on Tuesday to inform me that the person she hired would do this for us today. It looked like he did a good job.
It's NFL regular season opening night, I watched the last couple of minutes of the 1st half and the very beginning of the 2nd half. However, I fell into sleep in the following 3 hours until 40 minutes ago, so missed most of the game. It's not Seahawks' game anyway. Patriots won over Steelers 28 to 21. Do the scores reflect 4 TDs vs. 3 TDs? Possibly.
