Patrick's Diary - 6/7/2015

It has become a routine for me to finish the diary the following morning three days in row but hopefully it won't be the case today.

Before workout, I stopped at McDonald's to have breakfast again. The guy gave me a large cup for fountain drink first but after I told him I ordered the coffee, he realized and brought the large cup of coffee to me at the counter. Yes, buddy, I need coffee to kill the sleeping bugs for the rest of the day.
I followed my weekend schedule to workout, almost non-stop, at least one hour and forty-five minutes until noon at gym. After getting into my car, I was totally sweaty.
As I suggested in my clip: Soccer is the sport requiring the players to constantly run in the field for 45 minutes. This is different from Football, Baseball, Basketball and Ice Hockey, which focus more on explosive capabilities rather than endurance. When I was a kid, a teen and a youth, I played striker and attacking midfielder most of the playtime, so I didn't feel this very much. After getting into late 30s until early 40s several years ago, I started playing left back for a team in Greater Seattle Soccer League, I sensed why most of the positions in soccer required the non-stop running capabilities, especially Right/Left Back, Right/Left Midfielders and Holding Midfielders. Anyway, I have stopped playing soccer since 2007, so you might not want to listen to me.

Coming back home, I found lawns needed to be mowed and did it before going into the house to have lunch. My mom cooked very delicious foods today.
After lunch, I started writing Day Eight of Sometime in Scandinavia and wrapped it up after dinner. In between I did take a break to watch the last 3 innings of Mariners' game. Interestingly, at the moment when I turned on TV, someone was singing National Anthem. I wasn't sure why it was performed in between the innings. I haven't watched Mariners' games for a long time, so forgot if this was its tradition.

Wrapping up the day, I am thinking to post another pleasant song from Youtube. Actually, I like another song on 105.3 very much too but wasn't able to find it. Let me try tomorrow.
