Before driving my van out of the garage this morning, I appreciated neat lawn in our front yard under the sunny sky.
However, summer might come too soon. On my way home after work, though it was already almost 6:00 pm, sun rays were still very strong as if they could have broken through your skin. Per Anna on Spirit 105.3, the temperature had gone up to 85 degrees today. Hopefully we will experience a little bit rain during this week. By the way, the formula of conversion from Fahrenheit to Celsius is C = (F-32)*5/9, so 85 Fahrenheit is equivalent to 29.4 Celsius, which was pretty high in June in Seattle.
After dinner, I cut Day Nine of Sometime in Scandinavia short from my original plan. I will leave the imagination of having decent dinner at an upscale restaurant to a reality check when I take my son to Oslo next month. So, this episode was almost full of history.
When I arrive at gym, it was already 10:30 pm. I didn't run much as I usually do at 8 miles per hour but only walked or jogged. On bike, I felt pretty comfortable.
On my way home, I rolled down the side window of my van, breeze was cool.
12:33 am, it's time to go to bed. Oh, my son wanted me to help him preview Integrals for his Calculus class in next quarter after we come back from vacation next month. I actually need to start reviewing Derivatives and Differentials first, so my plan is to read one chapter per week even during our trip in Scandinavia. Then, after we come back, I can guide my son starting from Chapter 5 - Integrals. Last quarter, I helped him in Microeconomics and I guess he did benefit from it.
