Patrick's Diary - 12/7/2015

I didn't take off my clothes but fell into sleep after dinner from time to time until 10 minutes ago. It's 4:44 in the morning on Tuesday. I did plan to go to work early and come back home early from now up to the last day before holiday break but wasn't able to to do it yesterday morning. As a matter of fact, the traffic on I-405 was totally congested at the crossover of I-90, I had to go through local again to arrive at the office build in one hour and a half, otherwise it would have taken me one hour more, I believe.
Patterson's book is interesting and I guess he and his co-author, David Ellis, might got a lot of ideas from postings in social media. They might also have informants all over the nation just like FBI and in the rest of the world just like CIA.

Climate Change has been a topic recently because of the summit being held in Paris. I also learned that heavily polluted air in Beijing got even worse in the last couple of days. The information flooded in through Chinese programs my parents watched, my college classmates at CUMT posted in our group on WeChat, and even mainstream media in US. Many cities in developed countries seemed having experienced the same nightmare in the past, such as London. Hopefully, Chinese government can learn from the lessons to cure this problem. Surfing on Youtube, I found this clip depicting this artist taking some actions in Beijing to advocate for clean air.
By the way, I arranged my reading room very well a couple of weeks ago as I claimed. I love the layout and enjoy reading and writing in it even more now. Ok, it's almost five now, I am going to eat a sweet bun, sip jasmine tea, take a shower, press the shirt and be on the road.
