Waking up, I started watching BPL Breakaway on NBC Sports Network. It's a very entertaining program NBCSN presents once or twice a season. Every match played simultaneously was switched from time to time, sometimes the scenes were moments ago, sometimes they were live. Moving down to living room, I kept watching Manchester United playing Chelsea, both teams are struggling in this season and several players missed absolute scoring opportunities in this match. No one scored at the end.
I thought my mom's test to be arranged in this afternoon, but realized it on Tuesday after reading the note and calling reservation desk to confirm. Going back to my bedroom, I started catching up the bowl games. Navy was leading Pittsburgh by 10 at Military Bowl, but Pitt caught up 2 touchdowns in a short period of time.
Navy took a risk at 4th & 2 and their Quarterback ran more yards. Pitt had never tied the game before the end. Navy won the bowl, they seemed so happy.
Switching to ESPN2, I kept watching Quick Lane Bowl in which Minnesota playing Central Michigan. This bowl game was being held in Detroit, which wasn't far away from both teams' home. It's a low score game because I found only Minnesota added a field goal after I woke up from an hour long nap. However, Central Michigan would make a combative TD pretty soon.
Toward the end of the game, Minnesota made their final TD in this game to lead by 5 points. They tried to lead by a TD, so attempted two-point-conversion and made it. Eventually, Minnesota won the bowl. College bowl games are very entertaining and exciting. I will finish my plan to watch every bowl game in person in my life for sure.
We had planned to go to Red Lobster in Lynnwood to have our biggest holiday dinner, so I drove my parents and my son there around 6:00 PM. I had called earlier to try to make a reservation but they didn't take it unless for a group of 9 or more. It's pretty busy even on a Monday night. We had to wait for 15 minutes to get our table. Last time I was here was probably 8 years ago, the menu was new to me though I had checked online earlier. Since it was planned as the most significant dining out during this holiday break for our family, we ordered full courses: Drinks; Lobster Pizza as appetizer; two 1 1/4 pound live maine lobsters, steak and linguini as main courses for everyone. I even got a free refill of lemonade. The foods were delicious, the services were super. Their manager even came over to talk to us for a minute at the end of our feast. The check amount was reasonable, which was similar to what we spent for seafoods at New Star Chinese restaurant in downtown Seattle.
Leaving for home after the big dinner, I snapped a photo for my parents and son at the front of the restaurant. It's our family celebration for New Year of 2016.
Catching the final four seconds of Monday Night Football, I was surprised by Broncos' missed field goal, which wasn't a super long one. However, the kicker made the winning one in overtime because Bengals wouldn't be able to score later. I just noticed the former Alabama's QB playing for Bengals in this season, he must be drafted by them earlier this year.
I did notice several movies on HBO I wanted to watch, but became very sleepy...
