Patrick's Diary - 12/23/2015

I needed to drive my dad to have a lab test at 7:30 am, so didn't leave for work early this morning. Taking this chance to watch CNBC, I found NYC Ballet was hosting Opening Bell at NYSE. It made the financial world with the smell of money artistically.
With a group of elementary school students in Beijing from 1974 to 1975, I was trained for ballet by a former Soviet Union dancer who lived in China for the reason I didn't know. She went back her home after a year, our training stopped. However, I still remember we kept our both foot horizontally at 180 degree as a part of daily practice. Haha, I still can do it today.
It's interesting that I was playing right inside forward in WM Formation at school soccer team and even starting going to district soccer academy the same years. These were totally different activities.

Coming back home early, I started putting the lights above the garage door and wrapping them around the trees in the front yard. My dad was helping as well. Though, our lightings are not fancy, they look still pretty colorful. I just went out to film a clip. Our neighbours' lightings are more beautiful but most of them are turned off, so you can't see them. They put them on probably back in Thanksgiving.
It's actually already 2:07 in the morning of Christmas Eve, I will drive my dad to Virginia Mason for annual health check 6 hours later, so I have to go back to sleep instead of solving the problems in my son's Calculus textbook. Someone who seems trained by elite tech schools gave a hint very implicitly, so probably I should apply Calculus going forward. It's exciting.
