Patrick's Diary - 5/21/2015

I have already started Day Six of Sometime in Scandinavia but won't complete it until Memorial Day. I hope I may even finish Day Seven then. However, to keep my blog updated, I am thinking to write diary. Let's see if I can commit. The last time of period during which I kept writing diary was in early 90s.

First of all, I declare that I won't write anything related to my professional job and others' privacy, so you wouldn't need to worry.

Coming back home pretty earlier, I dropped my body onto the bed and turned onto CNN. It was Erin Burnett Show on which Brutal DC Quadruple Homicide was present. However, just a minute ago, I found it on CNN website that the suspect was arrested. It sounds a complex case.

After dinner, I took a nap for 20 minutes, then on my way to LA Fitness to workout. Honestly, I hadn't gone there for 3 nights because I had felt tired in the last couple of days. It was a very summer-like nice day in Seattle, hopefully it will last into this Memorial Long Weekend.

Testing uploading clip from my Youtube account, I am satisfied with this function. As I shared several days ago, GOOGLE's entire platform fits my hobbies very well but I haven't followed its stock for a long time, generally, I own the companies' stocks while using their products or services. I will keep watching $GOOGL.

As usual, I started workout on treadmill, walking, jogging and running for half an hour. I was happy that at this age, I still could do this. I will be 49 years old in July.

After biking 20 minutes and weight lifting 100+ times, I was on my way home. It is always great when I have a chance to go workout. I will keep doing this 4 days in row through this weekend.

Ok, hanging on for another half an hour, I will go to bed...Oh, I forgot that my son called me this morning when I just sat down in office, he got average scores on his calculus midterm and felt pretty satisfied. Yes, it was pretty good given most of the students in that class took calculus in high school but my son didn't. He has been in uptrend trajectory for his academic studies. Tomorrow morning at 6:00, he will get up at his dorm to select classes for Autumn Quarter in his Sophomore year. I will pick him up in the afternoon because he will come back home to have this long weekend. He didn't do it last weekend because of preparing for the midterm. It's not easy to be a college student, especially at a pretty good school.
