Apparently, Dennis had to take a little bit more time to fix the car, so I had to work from home for another day. However, I needed to go out after staying at home for almost 3 days. Getting online, I reserved a rental car at Enterprises. After doing it, I called Dennis to see if he could give a ride to pick up the car in the morning on Thursday. It's on Bothell Everett Highway, not very far but not in walking distance either. I walked there once when my car didn't start a year ago and it took me 45 minutes.
Dennis was a veteran who went to the war for the country in 70s. He told me his first job actually was with our company before joining the army. Today, he was in VA office when I called him, so he didn't pick up the phone but called me back. As always, he was always willing to help me as long as he could. He also told me that he had to wait for a generator delivered to have my car fixed, so it would take another day. Yes, my decision of renting a car was right, otherwise, I would have to stay at home on Thursday, I was really bored.
As I had planned, I consolidated all fragmental postings of my review of Economics Rules on my blog and published a complete one on my Linkedin site. I felt a bit accomplishment and would keep doing it. I also planned to publish my own books.
A Chinese airline, Okay Airways, ordered 737s in Singapore Airshow and Engineers overwhelmingly accepted new contract. These probably were the major good news today while I was offsite.
