Patrick's Diary - 11/5/2015

As I shared with my co-workers several days ago, toll lanes do help me pass by downtown Bellevue from Bothell-Everett Highway but the traffic becomes congested from I-90 overbridge to Renton than before. It used to be wide open but now vehicles start bumper-to-bumper maybe because cars have passed by downtown Bellevue more quickly, the flow cumulates after it. Another reason probably is drivers living in that area now no longer get onto I-405 but go through local to get onto I-90 East then turn onto I-405 South after I-90 over bridge. Anyway, I have frequently taken the Exit where Seahawks training facility locates to drive on Lake Washington Blvd. to go through downtown Renton to go to work since I figured this out.  I did  it on this busy Thursday morning after pumping the gas at Shell right out of Exit 7, which is 2 miles further south. Downhill view of Lake Washington was fantastic.
Coming back home to have dinner my mom cooked, I shared it with my classmates in our chat group on WeChat again. They asked me the price of shrimps and compared to the one in China.
One of my classmates reminded me to have a bottle of beer, I showed him the big can left from last weekend but didn't elaborate that I wouldn't drink it until the coming weekend. I am trying to restrict myself not to drink alcohol during the weekdays.
Stopping by Safeway to refill my mom's medications, I saw Tina, Barbara and Lisa working there. While waiting, I tested my blood pressure on the equipment, the result was excellent: 115/73.
Before heading out to drive to gym, I grabbed two bottles of Gatorade, 3 bucks for 2, it's not too bad.
It always makes me feel so relaxed and energised after getting off the treadmill and bike at gym. One of my dorm buddies, who actually had the same last name as mine, shared a photo of the swimming pool at his gym in Beijing later that night, but I haven't figured out how to post it in my blog from chat group on my cellphone.

Ok, one more day to the weekend I have to wait.
