Patrick's Diary - 10/6/2015

Because I decided to catch up my diary for Monday before driving to work in the morning, I ended up coming back home close to 7:30 pm. I didn't lose anything on TV because there wasn't any televised interesting game though baseball playoff kicked off.

I did watch CNN news for quite a while while I was eating dinner. Former Minnesota Governor Ventura was interviewed, he is a colorful figure and I never read his book of American Conspiracies that was referred in the interview several times by Lemon, I may grab one to read. Ventura hoped Trump would crash GOP and Sanders would smash Dem because both of them are unconventional. New findings regarding Oregon Shooting were disclosed that killer's mom tweeted a lot about her enthusiasm in guns.

Because I would need to start early, then take half a day off to drive my mom to Virginia Mason for a bone test, I went to bed early without punching any Chinese in the Alumni Group on WeChat. However, I read several of them talking about going down to the bottom of coal mine as part of practical trainings, which triggered me to just pull a picture on which all dorm mates except one who was taking this picture for us subbed by another classmate from another dorm room were standing in the center of Qufu, Kongzi's hometown. Though our major was civil engineering, we needed to go to a mine in the suburb of this city for practical training in 1986 as well given our school being a mining technological institute. All of us probably were still a couple of months younger than 20 then. I was at the very right.
