I did turn onto NBCSN to watch Arsenal hosting West Ham at 5:30 am but it was a surprise that the latter won 2:0.
The following match was Stoke City hosting Liverpool, though the host made a lot of opportunities, Coutinho's 86th minute powerful shot from the edge of big box helped the guest win at the end. However, with several big signings, Liverpool still has a long way to go. This is just the first round, you never know which team will be on top in next May.
Without wasting the time, I drove to gym to workout for an hour, then came back home to have lunch, caught Sounders challenging Galaxy in Carson on time. I hadn't expected Sounders to win this one and became pretty sure after not seeing Martins and Dempsey in the field. However, it was a surprise that Barrett scored in the first minute after Freiberg passed a perfect ball to his left foot. Unfortunately, he got injured after this goal and had to leave the field.
I did watch the other match held in New Jersey between Red Bulls and NYC. NYC seemed having the problem to integrate the three big stars into the entire team. As one commentator said, they'd better turn around quickly.
Promising my son to drive him watching MI-Rogue Nation, we went to AMC at Alderwood Mall tonight. It's always a great movie with so much fun. My son said that field agents in real world wouldn't be so combative as he heard. It's right, risking lives is always the last option in agents' operations, otherwise every intelligent agency would lose their agents they have trained for so long with so much cost too quickly. Just like in any other sectors or industries, maybe even more critical, they need to plan everything out in detail in advance to avoid any risks of losing freedoms and lives. Field agents can't have many interactions with others either, they generally complete missions totally on their own no matter how do they achieve the goals, otherwise there would be too many traces of their actions, which would bring high risks. However, movies always fantasize the realities, or the stories would be so boring.
My son asked me why this movie was related to China Movie Channel after he sought the description at the beginning, I don't really know either. I also noticed it was associated with Alibaba Pictures, so I assumed there must be deals behind the scenes. Thinking about Sony Pictures, you may figure out that Chinese start being involved in US entertaining industries just like Japanese did 30 years ago.
I was impressed by the opera, Turandot being performed at Vienna State Opera in the middle of the movie. The so called "The most beautiful melody" of Nessun Dorma always touches my heart.
At the end of the movie, the melody was customized to send Ilsa to drive away, I couldn't help singing with it...
